Rooted in community. Driven by innovation. Committed to transformation.
To empower rural youth, women, and households through skills development, sustainable livelihoods, and community led innovation, creating pathways to independence and resilience.
Social Seed Uganda began as a grassroots movement formed by young community leaders who recognized the gaps in access to skills, mentorship, and sustainable income opportunities. What started as small local workshops soon evolved into a structured organization empowering hundreds across Uganda. Our journey reflects determination, collaboration, and a belief that every community member has potential waiting to be unlocked.
Our model is grounded in co-creation. We listen first, understand the challenges on the ground, and design solutions with, not for, the communities we serve. Each project integrates training, mentorship, entrepreneurship support, and long-term follow-up to ensure lasting change.
Today, Social Seed Uganda has reached thousands of youth and families through programs in skilling, agriculture, entrepreneurship, livelihoods, and digital empowerment, creating opportunities that reshape individual futures and entire communities.
We aim to expand our innovation hub, strengthen community learning centers, support more youth led enterprises, and drive forward large scale rural transformation powered by shared innovation.
